The 10 Best Tire Shops in Richmond (2026)
Richmond drivers rely on a mix of neighborhood garages and busy commercial tire centers for seasonal changes, repairs and roadside needs. This ranking is built from Google review data and updated for 2026 using a Bayesian-style score that balances average rating with review count. We prioritized shops that show consistently high ratings while accounting for how many people reviewed them, so locations with both strong scores and substantial feedback rank higher. Use this list as a starting point to compare options across the city and find a shop that fits your schedule, vehicle type and proximity.
This ranking is computed from Google reviews (our method). Listings marked Partner are paid advertising spots: they sit alongside the ranking without changing its order.

Frequently asked questions
How should I choose the right tire shop?
Look at recent reviews, shop ratings, and the number of reviews to gauge consistency. Check that the shop handles your vehicle type and offers services you need, such as mounting, balancing, alignment or roadside assistance, and compare availability and written estimates before committing.
What typically affects the cost of new tires or repairs?
Price depends on tire size, brand, performance category and whether services like mounting, balancing or alignment are required. Additional factors include labor rates, whether the tire is specialty or commercial, and applicable taxes or disposal fees.
What should I check before hiring a tire shop?
Verify the shop’s Google rating and read recent reviews for recurring issues or praises, confirm they offer warranties or guarantees in writing, and ask about turnaround time and exact services included in the estimate. Also make sure technicians are comfortable with your vehicle’s make and any specific needs.
How was this ranking created and updated?
The list is based on Google review data updated for 2026 and uses a Bayesian-style approach that weights average rating by the number of reviews. That method helps balance a high score with broader customer feedback so both small, highly rated shops and larger, well-reviewed centers are considered.
